It Happened Right Here | 2007
Of all types of storytelling, I am particularly interested in the way people describe the locations in which they experienced injuries or other traumatic events. It often seems as if the act of describing such a place gives the storyteller a continuing presence in that space.
A series of combination woodcut-lithographs, each of which is a re-invention, a re-imagining of the place explored the time before.
