This map served as a guide to my recent multi-media exhibition,
Preliminary Investigations at City Park.

It combines a map from the 1960s with a recent satellite map of Iowa City Park, a site fictionalized in Flannery O'Connor's first novel, Wise Blood.

City Park's own complex history, combined with its fictional doppelganger, are the subject of investigation and interpretation in my upcoming MFA thesis exhibition, The Heart of the Park (March 23-29, 2012).
